Position: Site Engineer (Permanent)
Site Engineer – Civils / Groundworks

💷 £40,000 – £45,000 + package
🏗 Major industrial civils package (£28m)

A well-established specialist civil engineering subcontractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support delivery of a major £28m civils package on a large-scale industrial scheme near Redcar.

This is a permanent position offering long-term continuity, starting with an extensive enabling works package before progressing into groundworks and structural works.

The Role

Working closely with Site Management and the wider project team, you will be responsible for the engineering and technical delivery of the civils package, including:

* Setting out for enabling works, groundworks and structures

* Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications

* Producing and maintaining as-built records

* Supporting QA documentation, ITPs and site records

* Coordinating subcontractors and site teams

* Assisting with short-term planning and programme delivery

* Enabling works

* Bulk earthworks

* Drainage and infrastructure

* Groundworks and reinforced concrete structures

About You

* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

* Background in enabling works, groundworks and/or structures

* Strong setting out capability

* Comfortable working on large, complex sites

Tickets / qualifications:

* CSCS

* SMSTS (or working towards) – desirable

* First Aid – desirable
