Overview

We have an role for an Inspector here at Honeywell, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our aerospace products. You will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating components and assemblies to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our aerospace operations.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager, and you ll work out of our Redditch, Worcestershire, UK location. This is a site-based role, 37 hours per week.

We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Key responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on components and assemblies according to established drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from the required standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures.
Key skills and qualifications
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification within Engineering, Mechanics or Manufacturing OR equivalent skilled industry experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry
