Job Title: VAT Consultant
Contract: 6-Month Interim
Rate: 400 per day (Inside or Outside IR35)
Location: Fully Remote
Sector: Local Authority

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced VAT Consultant to support a Local Authority on a 6-month interim basis. While prior local government experience is helpful, it is not essential. The key requirement is solid VAT expertise and the ability to manage compliance tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to HMRC queries relating to VAT Returns
• Preparing accurate VAT Returns
• Performing Partial Exemption calculations

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and compliance
• Experience preparing VAT Returns and handling HMRC queries
• Ability to work independently and remotely
