Quality Inspector

Position: Quality Inspector (Permanent)
A Quality Inspector opportunity has become available within a well-established UK engineering manufacturer operating from a modern production facility in the Redditch area. Working within a precision engineering environment involving complex mechanical assemblies, this role would suit an experienced Quality Inspector or Quality Technician, or a quality-focused production professional looking to move into a more technical inspection position. The role is fully site-based and offers an attractive benefits package including a salary circa of £35,000, a generous employer pension contribution and clear progression opportunities.

Quality Inspector responsibilities include
- Inspecting mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and finished products.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and supporting documentation.

Auditing products, people and processes to ensure compliance with standards.

Containing non-conforming material and supporting corrective actions.

Producing inspection records, certification documentation and quality KPIs.

Supporting calibration activities and continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment.
Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience
- At least visual inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.

Background within precision engineering, mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing.

Practical problem-solving skills using core quality tools.
