Job Title - Quality Inspector

Location - Redditch

Rate of Pay - £13.50 + (negotiable)

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a stable role with a leading manufacturer? We are recruiting for a skilled Quality Inspector to join a well-established company in Redditch, working on a day shift with an early finish on Fridays.

The Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the quality team, ensuring that all goods meet strict industry standards. You will conduct first-off and final inspections using a variety of tools and techniques, ensuring compliance with ISO
9001, AS9100, and NADCAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect springs, wireforms, stampings, and assemblies to ensure compliance with stringent quality requirements.
  • Perform first-off and final inspections using hand tools such as verniers, micrometers, and shadow graphs.
  • Identify and report non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience using inspection tools such as verniers, micrometers, and shadow graphs.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality control.
  • Proficiency in standard business IT systems (e.g., Word, Excel, and email).
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude.
  • Previous experience in a Spring/Presswork manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to Aerospace or Automotive industries.
  • Formal training or qualifications in Quality Inspection.
