Buildforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of one of our principal contractor clients for an experienced Site Engineer to work on a large industrial and logistics project in Horsham.
This is a freelance opportunity with an immediate start, offering around 25 weeks of work on a well-structured project team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out for groundworks, structures, and associated civils works
* Managing and checking works to ensure quality and accuracy
* Interpreting drawings and specifications
* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
* Maintaining site records, as-built drawings, and QA documentation
* Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with project requirements
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on industrial, logistics, or similar large-scale projects
* Strong setting-out and surveying skills
* Proficient with relevant equipment and software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
* CSCS card (essential)
