Senior Buyer – Pall Corporation

Join to apply for the Senior Buyer role at Pall Corporation located in Redruth. The Senior Buyer is responsible for leading and developing a team of buyers to achieve or exceed KPIs of Supplier On Time Delivery and Inventory Reductions. This position reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Procurement Team located in Redruth and will be an on‑site role.

• Lead a team to achieve departmental goals
• Work within SAP S4 Hana using the MRP system
• Use continuous‑improvement tools to further develop and introduce effective processes
• Attend weekly site‑management meetings
• Conduct regular 1‑to‑1 meetings with team members

• Strategic Procurement Leadership – Drive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring cost optimisation, supplier reliability and risk mitigation
• Team Development and Performance Management – Lead, mentor and coach a team of buyers to enhance negotiation skills, supplier relationship management and compliance with company policies
• Supplier Relationship – Work with the Supplier Relationship Manager and Supplier Quality Engineer to establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers
• Data‑Driven Decision Making – Identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve procurement efficiency and support long‑term planning
• Cross‑functional collaboration – Work with operations, demand planning and supply‑chain teams to align procurement activities with production schedules, inventory targets and organisational goals

• Ability to travel – Visits to supplier sites
• Must have a valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record
