Rodda’s brand-new, purpose-built cottage cheese facility will start producing early 2026 and we’re looking for exceptional people to be a part of it. This is a rare opportunity to learn a new production line and become a Specialist in this category-defining product.

The role will report into the Shift Manager and at times you will be expected to step up and be trusted to make decisions that safeguard our standards and keep production running smoothly.

Hours: 12hr shift, 4 On, 4 Off, alternating Days & Nights |
Salary: £34,609.85 including night shift premium |
Location: Scorrier, Redruth

• A technically capable operator who understands process control, food safety, and quality systems.
• A detail conscious, meticulous and hard-working team member.
• A person who is responsible, open and committed to “doing the right thing” – even when it’s difficult.

You’ll learn and need to understand all elements of the cottage cheese manufacturing process, ensuring tight control of key parameters such as temperature, pH, curd size, mix ratios and hygiene standards. You’ll conduct start-ups, produce the cottage cheese, complete calibrations to ensure we are achieving daily performance, yield and efficiency targets.

As a Specialist you will be responsible for following the procedures, have acute attention to detail and focused on producing a consistently exceptional product. Reliability, excellent attendance and the ability to step-up and take ownership at times will be required, as the teams will be small.
