CNC Milling Setter / Operator

Competitive We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter / Operator to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining our long tradition of supplying quality products to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring high standards are met for both small and large batch sizes of high-value components.

Day-to-day of the role:

Setting and running HAAS CNC mills and Multi Axis CNC lathes.
Operating XYZ Prototrak controls.
Interpreting engineering drawings and applying these to machined components.
Ensuring quality control and meeting production deadlines.
Working with various batch sizes, maintaining precision on high-value components.
Self-managing projects to meet customer-specific deadlines.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ/Diploma/BTEC in engineering.
Experience in setting and running HAAS CNC mills and Multi Axis CNC lathes is beneficial.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Experience with XYZ Prototrak controls is advantageous.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
