- Oversee all advocacy activities in support of EMEA region
- Align advocacy operations to deliver (i) policy victories and (ii) enhance our reputation at the national and community levels by partnering with stakeholders on key public policy initiatives
- Create campaigns that leverage political allies, third party partners, and the media to capitalize on new opportunities for the EMEA business
- Properly evaluate and build strong relationships with stakeholders in the legislative and executive branches of government, including key regulatory agencies
- Engage in direct lobbying at the federal and state level with a focus on consumer product legislative and regulatory matters
- Establish and lead a unified EMEA advocacy program, which includes comprehensive community relations initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes, particularly in the EU and UK and across wider EMEA
- Experience in designing, managing, and executing multi‑disciplinary advocacy campaigns
- Experience working with broad community of stakeholders, including non‑profit organisations, trade associations, external consultants and government officials
- Experience working both independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment; and cultural sensitivity
- Demonstrated prior experience building strategic advocacy campaigns at the federal and state government levels.
