To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Calibration Process Performance Expert.
What is this role about?In this role, you will be part of a team developing new calibration concepts that fulfill the highest standards in metrology and engineering, enabling reliability and strong quality around the clock. Our highly specialized inhouse engineering and project departments work hand in hand to deliver world‑class calibration processes to our production centers worldwide. The position is based in Reinach, Switzerland.
Specifically, you can expect the following tasks- You define, propose, and lead strategically relevant activities to improve the quality, reliability, flexibility, and cost efficiency of the automated calibration process, while continuously considering their impact on upstream and downstream processes.
- You provide expert support for complex technical projects while connecting different disciplines and stakeholders around the automated calibration process, such as R&D, Operations, and Technical Marketing.
- You contribute to the lifecycle of technical process workflows to enhance quality, reliability, flexibility, and cost efficiency.
- You recommend data workflows to allow for key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.
- You monitor and rely on KPIs to evaluate calibration performance and drive continuous process improvement.
- You hold a degree in natural sciences or engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, or a related field) from a university or university of applied sciences, enabling you to quickly understand complex, custom‑engineered production processes and equipment.
- You have project management experience and have worked with data workflows in a manufacturing environment.
- You naturally apply Lean Six Sigma methods and have experience with ISO/IEC quality management systems.
- You demonstrate strong soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and intercultural collaboration, integrating them seamlessly into your professional conduct.
- You are proficient in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in German is a strong plus.
