Engineering Shift Technician – Terumo Aortic

Terumo Aortic requires an experienced Engineering Shift Technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and associated tasks on equipment and site. This is a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

• Carrying out routine checks and maintenance on equipment and associated services
• Carry out repairs and modifications to equipment and services
• Support and deliver projects to upgrade and install new equipment and services
• Experienced in fault finding techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to analyze data, report findings and recommend improvement actions
• Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality and project compliance and legislation
• Actively participate in performance management objectives and demonstrate Terumo Aortic values
• Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support objectives and personal career development
• Provide operational shift cover

• Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Proven post qualification experience of working within a multi‑disciplined maintenance environment is essential
• Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment; competent in the use of CMMS systems
• Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications; experience of working in a rotating shift team
• Previous experience in a medical device environment would be desirable
