This role requires an inspirational leader with proven flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy and determination to drive and develop the business.

• Ensure all policies and procedures in the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety checks.
• Report and chase all defects to guarantee the building and equipment are safe.
• Recruit, manage and develop a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure club operations.
• Hold regular team meetings to aid development and keep everyone updated.
• Work towards and aim to achieve all sales and membership targets set.
• Drive and maximise secondary spending revenue.
• Ensure the whole gym facility meets the highest cleanliness standards, overseeing in‑house cleaning.
• Manage the weekly banking process, minimising wastage and variance while maximising profit.
• Maintain uniform standards and deliver outstanding member service.
• Create an environment where the team enjoys working at JD Gyms and be an ambassador of the brand.

• Proven and successful management experience within a leisure‑related industry.
• Passionate about customer service and an inspirational leader.
• Track record in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity.
• Recruiting and managing a successful team.
• Experience as a General Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility, or substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or similar operational role.
