We are working with a leading logistics provider who are seeking a Freight Forwarder to join their growing team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in freight operations to further develop their career with a highly respected business.

Location: Glasgow

Salary: 35,000

• Manage and coordinate freight shipments (both full and part loads).
• Source, negotiate, and liaise with carriers and subcontractors to ensure competitive rates and service levels.
• Oversee the end-to-end process, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and to customer requirements.
• Prepare and manage relevant freight documentation and customs requirements.
• Track and monitor consignments, resolving any issues proactively.

• Previous experience in freight forwarding is essential.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in transport management systems (TMS) and MS Office applications.
