About the OpportunityAs a dispenser within one of our stores, you’ll be a key member of the pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services. You’ll build relationships with patients, greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and provide advice to support informed health decisions.

Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collecting).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the store to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
- Provide care and advice about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when appropriate.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
- Stay up to date with new innovations and comply with operational processes.
- Support patients in managing their prescriptions, including reliable repeats and effective medicine management to promote adherence and reduce waste.
- Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
- Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.
- Experience working in community pharmacy.
