Shape Tec Data Hub as a remote Product Manager in Canada, combining automotive data standards, platform strategy, and supplier onboarding leadership.
This Product Manager leads the North American Tec Data Hub platform while overseeing Opti Cat MCP business requirements and capabilities. You will define use cases, product positioning, and scalable solutions for customers, suppliers, distributors, and data consumers. Your focus includes interoperability, cataloging, product information management, and data quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Tec Data Hub development as a neutral industry data utility
- Drive Tec Doc methodology adoption alongside ACES and PIES interoperability
- Define scalable onboarding frameworks for manufacturers and distributors
- Establish use cases for automotive data ecosystem participants
- Build relationships with strategic customers and ecosystem partners
- At least five years of product management experience
- Experience translating customer needs into product specifications
- Understanding of automotive product and application data
- Knowledge of ACES, PIES, or Tec Doc standards preferred
- Familiarity with cataloging, PIM, and data distribution solutions
