The Senior Dev Ops Specialist is a core member of every project team and plays a critical role in the software development life cycle.

• Design CI/CD pipelines and related automations and integrations.
• Lead a team of Dev Ops experts through coordination of work and assignment of tasks.
• Write and/or ensure pipeline requirements are ready for development by the Dev Ops Team.
• Collaborate with project teams to conceptualize, develop, test, and release software.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Software Quality Engineering to enable automated testing of software.
• Support Software Quality Engineering to integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with IT and Cloud Architecture to implement Infrastructure as Code for automation.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security to implement software security policies to prevent breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Support IT by contributing to the design and implementation of deployment and monitoring tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in Dev Ops implementation to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development or systems administration experience.
• Experience leading a Dev Ops or development team.
• Experience mentoring junior and intermediate Dev Ops engineers.
• Expert-level knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Expert-level experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Power Shell.
• Expert-level experience with source control tools such as Git Lab.
• Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab CI.
• Expert-level experience with IaC technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Salt, or similar.
• Expert knowledge of monitoring stacks like ELK, Grafana/Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Successful candidates must obtain and hold a security clearance at the Reliability status level and pass the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.

• Experience with highly secure environments following NIST 800‑171 and/or CIS guidelines.
• Experience in partially air‑gapped environments with limited internet access.
• Cloud platform certification.

The compensation range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
