Vice President Cargo Responsibilities
Royal Air Maroc has appointed Rita Chraibi as its new Vice President Cargo, succeeding Yassine Berrada and signalling continuity in the airline’s long‑term cargo ambitions.

Chraibi brings close to two decades of experience within Royal Air Maroc, during which she has held a series of senior leadership roles. These positions have given her a detailed understanding of the carrier’s strategic priorities, as well as the operational and commercial dynamics of its business.

In her new role, Chraibi will be tasked with driving the cargo division’s commercial development strategy through to 2037. Her remit includes strengthening customer experience, enhancing service quality and supporting the airline’s wider network growth through the launch of new cargo routes. Cargo remains a core element of Royal Air Maroc’s overall strategy, underpinning both connectivity and revenue diversification.

Speaking following her appointment, Chraibi highlighted the importance of the cargo business to the airline and underlined her intention to build on the solid foundations already in place. She noted that the focus will remain on expanding the network, continuously improving services and keeping customer needs at the centre of all cargo activities.

The appointment comes at a time when Royal Air Maroc continues to invest in the development of its cargo offering, aligned with its broader long‑term growth plans. By promoting an experienced internal leader, the airline is reinforcing its commitment to stability, institutional knowledge and strategic continuity within the cargo division.

Chraibi’s leadership is expected to play a key role in shaping the next phase of Royal Air Maroc Cargo’s development, as the airline seeks to strengthen its position in regional and international cargo markets while responding to evolving customer and market requirements.
