Overview
Open Text is a global leader in information management. As a Site Reliability Administrator (SRE) Senior, you will join a global team to learn, grow, and mentor others. You will work with Technical Support Services, Cloud Service managers, and peers within Cloud Ops Delivery and the Platform team to improve cloud deployments and resilience. You will be part of the BAU team within Cloud Ops, responsible for Kubernetes management, OS patching/upgrades, backup/recovery, infrastructure migration, and on-call support.
We use tools such as Git, Ansible, and Terraform. Our tech stack includes GCP, AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, Anthos, Bosh, and Kubernetes. We are adopting Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments. You will contribute to improving or learning these processes.

WhatThe Role Offers
- Review, triage, and own incoming tickets for our private cloud deployment on AWS, Azure, GCP, and Open Text Cloud
- On-call support on a rotational basis (weekdays and weekends)
- Ability to code and refactor Terraform for infrastructure resizing and deployment
- Fluent troubleshooting of Kubernetes deployments, Kubernetes backup/recovery, and RBAC
- Build and deploy applications to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Configure Active Directory, Antivirus (Sentinel One, Trend Micro), and related debugging
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues on cloud platforms
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, tooling, and operations teams to develop or leverage CI/CD pipelines (on-premises and public cloud)
- 5+ years in deployment/build/support/architecture with 2+ years in Dev Ops or cloud technologies
- Experience in writing, refactoring, and deploying IaC using Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation
- Experience in OS patching/upgrade, antivirus deployments, and implementing recovery from backup
- Experience with Azure or AWS; GCP or Anthos is acceptable
- Good experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows
- Experience with at least one CI/CD system (Jenkins, Git Lab, Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Maven)
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple projects
- Experience with container orchestration on cloud platforms (AKS/EKS/PKS/GKE)
- Infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Helm
- Provisioning and managing container clusters
- Managing container-based applications
- Networking, storage, and databases understanding
