** is responsible for managing, growing, and developing a long-term strategic roadmap for assigned product portfolio at Dover Food Retail’s Anthony business unit. He/She is responsible for all aspects of the product life cycle management and to develop, manage, and implement product/customer and marketing strategies, new product development programs, value propositions, pricing & commercial launch to maximize profitable growth for assigned product lines.

This role is also responsible for day-to-day project management of key product development; sales and complexity reduction initiatives as well as managing the assigned product line P&L in terms of share & margin. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, business acumen and interpersonal skills.

* * Develop and execute annual and long-term (3-5years) growth strategies. Deliverables include product, technology and/or service roadmap and associated business case.
* Work with cross functional team to implement AOP initiatives to enhance profitability of products
* Develop comprehensive product definitions including models, base configurations and required options enabling guided selling and portfolio simplification
* Develop a library of market segments and applications and identify what products are required to be successful in these areas. Determine market size (revenue, units), growth and opportunity for each collaborating with corporate market research. Identify market drivers and customer buying behaviors.
* Perform competitive analysis including SWOT, pricing, features and product breadth comparisons to establish price/value positioning.
* Provide pricing guidance and work with pricing team to develop pricing for new products or offerings. Collaborate with enterprise pricing group on strategic pricing initiatives.
* Clearly identify target customers and market, primary benefit, and value proposition of the product.
* Product simplification, core definition & product lifecycle management of assigned product lines.
* Maintain market focus by regular contact with customers, sales and marketing. This includes responsibility for conducting distributor and end user training. Work closely with sales management to provide forums to interact with customers in identifying growth opportunities and new product development ideas.
