Senior Planner

Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their team. This freelance contract role is based in Rickmansworth and focuses on major utilities and infrastructure projects within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and managing detailed programmes using Primavera P6
Supporting construction methodology, sequencing, and logistics planning
Monitoring critical path, milestones, and programme risk
Producing NEC-compliant change and impact analysis
Integrating subcontractor programmes and reporting progress
Attending site and progress meetings as required

Job Requirements:

Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
Strong knowledge of NEC4 contract guidelines
Planning experience on large design and build infrastructure projects
Experience in utilities, water, and pipelines (including MEICA)

Desirable

Skills:

Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC)

Experience with site-based projects

Certifications:

CSCS
EUSR Blue Card
