CAD Technician
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Technician to join a growing transport and engineering consultancy.

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from small-scale residential developments to large mixed-use schemes.

Key responsibilities:

· Collaborating with senior team members to produce high-quality drawings for a variety of highway and drainage projects.

· Using AutoCAD to create detailed plans, layouts, and designs for highway schemes, including vehicular accesses and visibility splays.

· Carrying out swept path analyses.

· Making design amendments and updates to ensure drawings remain accurate and compliant with specifications.

· Working closely with colleagues across the design team to ensure coordinated outputs.
Essential skills and experience:

· Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

· Good working knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly in relation to highway design.

· Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver precise, accurate drawings.

· Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
