Glynn Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 31 people over the age of 65, some of whom are living with dementia or physical health needs.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dual Manager or Deputy Manager to join us. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who shares our commitment to dignity, compassion, and outstanding care.
The RoleDepending on your experience and career aspirations, you may join us as:
Dual Manager
A senior leadership role overseeing shared operational responsibilities. You will drive quality, and ensure our homes continue to meet and exceed CQC standards.
Deputy Manager
A key leadership role supporting the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home. You will help lead the team, support audits, oversee care planning, and ensure our residents receive exceptional, person‑centred care.
Key Responsibilities- Support the effective daily management of the home
- Lead, mentor, and motivate staff teams
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Oak Ray Care policies
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes
- Promote a positive, caring, and inclusive culture
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals
- Support recruitment, training, and staff development
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance
- Participate in the on‑call rota as required
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in a senior role within a care home setting
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and best practice
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support staff
- Excellent knowledge of care planning, safeguarding, and risk management
- Compassionate, approachable, and committed to high‑quality care
- Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
- Ideally qualified to Level 3 or Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
