We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced General Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the

ability to work independently.

Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling accounts

Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger

Perform periodic financial analyses and provide insights to management on financial performance

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures

Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory reports

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related issues

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance

Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting regulations is a plus

Professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is preferred

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
