Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. As an Associate Director, you will work with clients to provide high-quality accounting advisory services, maintain client relationships with senior stakeholders, work with Partner & Directors, mentor team members, and support business development and practice management initiatives.
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development.
- Manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients.
- Project management.
- Provide technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues, conduct research, and prepare technical memos.
- Assist clients with the implementation of new accounting standards.
- Assist clients with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
- Review and analyze client financial information and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise and mentor team members.
- Stay up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Apply independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards to meet engagement expectations and regulatory requirements.
We’re looking for accounting professionals who are passionate about providing accounting and reporting consulting to clients, including support on technical and special matters such as GAAP Conversion, accounting policy support, new accounting standard implementation (end-to-end), and Disclosure support for IFRS/USGAAP/Ind AS.
- Strong domain, project management, business development, and people skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of accounting concepts and ability to apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions.
- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, work ethic, and lead by example.
- Qualified CAs.
- CPAs/ACCAs with experience in technical accounting/financial reporting.
- 7-9 years of advisory experience.
