Key Responsibilities
- Collect cost-related data and maintain an up-to-date expense database.
- Identify and record fixed costs (such as salaries, rent, and insurance).
- Plan, monitor, and record variable costs (such as raw material purchases and operational expenses).
- Prepare budget reports for the company and individual departments.
- Analyze profit margins and report findings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts.
- Identify cost-effective solutions and provide recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or in a similar role.
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Skills
- Full understanding of all policies, procedures, and systems related to the field of work
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
