Cost Control Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Control Engineer with proven experience in landscape construction projects
. The ideal candidate will support project teams by monitoring budgets, controlling expenditures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to achieve cost-effective project delivery.

• Establish and maintain cost control systems for landscape construction projects.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets
  , forecasts, and cost tracking reports.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Review BOQs, cost breakdowns, and progress reports for hardscape, softscape, and irrigation works.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Planning, Procurement, and QS teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Verify and process subcontractor and supplier invoices
  , variations, and claims.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and assist in forecasting project cash flows.
• Participate in tendering and estimation activities for upcoming projects.
• Support in identifying value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Finance
  .
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry
  , preferably in landscape projects
  .
• Strong understanding of landscape works
  , including softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP or cost control software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts or similar standards is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  .
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
