Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee contract administration, commercial compliance, and risk management across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will manage contractual obligations, support negotiation activities, mitigate risks, and ensure all project contracts are executed in alignment with legal, financial, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the administration of project contracts from pre-award to post-award stages.
• Review, analyze, and interpret contract terms, conditions, specifications, and scope of work.
• Support tender evaluations, subcontractor selection, and contract drafting.
• Manage contractual correspondence, claims, variations, extensions of time, and change orders.
• Ensure all contract deliverables, obligations, and milestones are met by internal teams and subcontractors.
• Identify contractual risks and provide guidance to project teams on mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and review commercial and contractual reports for management.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and project management to ensure contract compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, agreements, notices, and commercial records.
• Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors when required.
• Support dispute resolution processes and assist in claim preparation and defense.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Contract Manager or in a senior contracts/commercial role within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contract forms (FIDIC or similar), contractual procedures, and commercial frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret legal and technical documents effectively.
• Strong knowledge of claims management and variation procedures.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines.
