ENGINEER, SITE
Oversee and coordinate construction activities for commercial projects, focusing on excavation works, concrete structures, basements, and multi‑storey buildings. Ensure project execution adheres to approved drawings, specifications, schedule, budget, quality standards, safety regulations, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Construction Planning & Coordination:
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and subcontractors to plan activities, define sequences, and ensure smooth execution of excavation, structural, and finishing works; support project planning, look‑ahead schedules, and resource allocation. - Site Assessment & Excavation Works:
Review site conditions, soil reports, and topographic data; supervise excavation, shoring, dewatering, and earthworks activities ensuring compliance. - Structural & Concrete Works Oversight:
Supervise concrete works including foundations, basements, retaining walls, slabs, columns, and multi‑storey elements; ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statements. - Technical Compliance & Quality Control:
Review IFC and shop drawings, method statements; monitor execution, conduct inspections, coordinate with QA/QC teams, address non‑conformances and corrective actions. - Basement & Multi‑Storey Construction Management:
Oversee basement construction, waterproofing, retaining structures, interfaces with MEP; coordinate vertical construction for multi‑storey buildings. - Safety Management:
Enforce HSE requirements, conduct risk assessments, ensure safety procedures and regulations compliance. - Stakeholder Communication & Coordination:
Resolve technical and execution issues with subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, consultants; participate in coordination meetings, provide updates on progress. - Risk Management & Problem Solving:
Identify construction risks; propose solutions and mitigation measures. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate site records: daily reports, inspection records, concrete pour records, progress updates aligned with project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in construction projects, site and land planning, structural analysis, project coordination, project scheduling.
