About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our Riyadh-based team, driving accurate cost estimation and contract management across large-scale construction projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation in quantity take-offs and AutoCAD, combined with exceptional negotiation skills to secure optimal contract terms.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  • Perform quantity take-offs from drawings using AutoCAD
  • Develop and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
  • Negotiate changes, variations, and claims with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor project costs and prepare regular budget reports and forecasts
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to control expenses
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend cost-saving measures
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Proven expertise in cost estimation and quantity take-off methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for measurement and drawing interpretation
  • Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of favorable outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, CIOB)
  • Experience with ERP or project management software (SAP, Primavera)
  • Fluency in Arabic and English for effective client and team communication
  • Background in risk management and cost control tools
  • Experience on mega-projects or government contracts in the Gulf region
