Design Consultant

We are seeking a passionate Interior Design Consultant with strong experience in furniture design and space planning. The ideal candidate combines creativity, technical skill, and client-focused communication to deliver outstanding design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand project requirements, design preferences, and functional needs.
• Assist walk-in clients and provide suitable furniture options based on size, style, and budget.
• Develop and present creative design concepts, layouts, and furniture selections.
• Prepare 2D layouts, quotations, and proposals, ensuring accurate pricing and details.
• Create detailed drawings and mood boards using design software.
• Guide clients on design aesthetics, space planning, and product information.
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, procurement, and projects) for smooth order execution.
• Maintain proper team communication and ensure all workflows and client follow-ups are completed.
• Conduct site visits to assess spaces, take measurements, and oversee design implementation.
• Stay updated with current design trends, materials, and sustainable design solutions.
• Ensure attention to detail and professionalism in client communications and meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as an Interior or Furniture Design Consultant, preferably in commercial or workspace design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design and furniture projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or equivalent design tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
