Landscape Architect Subject Matter Expert

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Landscape Architect Subject Matter Expert. The successful

Landscape Architect Subject Matter Expert is responsible for the aesthetic and functional design of outdoor areas within the road project, including soft and hard landscaping, irrigation, planting schemes, and urban furniture. You will ensure all landscape elements are integrated efficiently and sustainably, aligned with local climate and community expectations, from concept through construction and Defects Liability Period.

• Develop and review landscape designs, master plans, and detailed drawings.
• Provide subject matter expertise in sustainable landscape practices suitable for Riyadh’s climate.
• Review and approve landscape-related material submittals, samples, and mock-ups.
• Supervise landscape works implementation, including planting, hardscape, irrigation, and site furniture.
• Coordinate with civil, utilities, and environmental teams to integrate landscape works.
• Inspect and approve works during construction and advise on remedial measures during DLP.
• Contribute to community engagement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree and Chartership is a must.
• Due to specific project requirements, we are seeking candidates who have obtained their degree from a university in a Western country. (This preference is based solely on meeting the project's stipulated qualifications.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in road, highway, or major infrastructure landscaping.
• Strong knowledge of desert/arid landscaping, plant species, and irrigation technologies.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in English;
  Arabic language proficiency an asset.
• Must be a Member of a Chartered Institution
