Senior Landscape Architect

Owing to recent contract awards, we are now looking to recruit a high-calibre Senior Landscape Architect to work in our Saudi-based construction team on a wide portfolio of schemes across Saudi Arabia to meet the demanding workload.

• Conducts landscape or townscape character and visual impact studies/research in the field, followed by assessment and reporting, including the production of landscape plans
• Attending and coordinating client briefings and presenting project stages, and working with the client throughout the project
• Preparing and presenting landscape designs to clients and approving agencies, including specific technical expertise in land use planning, landscape architecture and urban design
• Liaising with internal and external clients on a range of issues, including statutory bodies in relation to relevant legislations and policies

• Minimum Academic
  
  Qualifications:
  
  College/University Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent

• Minimum of eighteen (18) years’ experience in Engineering and Construction Industry
• At least ten (10) years’ work experience in Site Supervision of Utilities projects
• Demonstrate significant experience of working within a similar role at a large consultancy, as well as being commercially aware and possessing excellent report writing skills
• Able to demonstrate effective project management capabilities, along with the required ability and flexibility to work to project deadlines
• Excellent working knowledge and understanding of the current landscape planning laws, policies and best practice guidelines
• Demonstrable graphics skills and proficiency in the industry standard software, including AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite packages
• Strong interpersonal skills with both internal and external colleagues, as well as experience of managing and mentoring less experienced staff members
• Fluency in English/Arabic language in both verbal and written communication skills is required
