Revit Operator

Overview

. The Revit Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality, detailed design drawings and models using Autodesk Revit. The role involves supporting architects, engineers, and project teams in creating, modifying, and managing BIM models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

• Develop, update, and maintain Revit models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines as required.
• Prepare accurate drawings, layouts, and detailed documentation based on design concepts and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design consistency and resolve technical issues.
• Apply company BIM standards, templates, and procedures to maintain model accuracy and uniformity.
• Generate schedules, sections, elevations, and 3D views from Revit models.
• Assist in clash detection and coordination processes between different trades using BIM tools.
• Update design changes and ensure timely delivery of revised drawings.
• Maintain drawing files, records, and documentation in an organized manner.
• Support the project team in ensuring compliance with local building codes, standards, and project guidelines.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Revit Operator / Draftsman in the Architecture / Engineering / Construction industry.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture / Structure / MEP as applicable).
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, drafting practices, and detailing.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other relevant design software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working on mall projects will be considered an added advantage.

• Knowledge of Navisworks or other BIM coordination tools.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
