Compliance Manager; Saudi National Engineering, Quick Commerce

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join the Amazon Now team to ensure technical and regulatory compliance across our engineering operations. This role will be crucial in achieving and maintaining compliance standards while scaling our engineering infrastructure across KSA.

In this role, the candidate will lead end-to-end compliance management for Amazon Now operations, overseeing due diligence processes, permit acquisitions, and renewal procedures. The ideal candidate will navigate complex regulatory landscapes and manage compliance uncertainties across all project phases. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with external partners in developing and implementing comprehensive compliance frameworks that ensure Amazon Now facilities meet all building codes and operational regulations.

Key responsibilities include establishing compliance protocols, maintaining regulatory documentation, coordinating with authorities, and providing strategic guidance to ensure continuous operational compliance.

• Manage engineering compliance throughout all project stages from initiation to operation.
• Develop and implement engineering compliance frameworks that align with regional regulatory requirements.
• Review technical drawings and engineering solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage continuous improvement in engineering compliance processes and controls.
• Provide expert guidance on technical compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities regarding technical compliance matters.
• Manage technical compliance audits and assessments in collaboration with internal cross-functional business functions.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
• 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
• Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
