Customer Solution Engineer – KONE

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Customer Solution Engineer to provide technical expertise in selecting KONE products that meet customer requirements. This role includes interpreting customer specifications, supporting the tendering process, and ensuring technical requirements are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend regular customer meetings, project follow‑up meetings, and site coordination meetings.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the customer and KONE on all technical matters.
• Collaborate with sales to identify optimal KONE products for non‑standard and major projects.
• Choose the correct product platform for offers.
• Place orders with the factory, ensuring correct documentation and procedures.
• Track manufacturing progress and coordinate material delivery dates to operations.
• Participate in product and new service release informational sessions.
• Provide technical training to Sales, Installation, and Maintenance teams.
• Provide input to product offering management on customization, standardization, and interface requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the elevator business or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
• Understanding of different building types and customer segments.
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms.
• Good CAD skills and optional BIM skills.
• Basic knowledge of competitors’ products.
• Understanding of product total cost construction and local norms and regulations.
