As an Electrical Estimation Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with engineering and sales teams to develop precise and competitive bids. Your role ensures the integrity and competitiveness of our tender submissions and the success of our future projects.
- Analyze project specifications and assist in accurate cost estimations for electrical systems within landscape projects.
- Review tender documents thoroughly—scope, specs, evaluation criteria, terms—and flag any ambiguities or risks.
- Participate in bid/no-bid analysis by evaluating project feasibility, profitability, and resource allocation.
- Support the preparation of proposals and technical solutions in coordination with engineering and sales teams.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and actively participate in techno-commercial discussions.
- Liaise with vendors for non-standard components and help optimize costing structures.
- Monitor project pipelines in coordination with the Tendering/Sales Manager.
- Maintain accurate data on hit rates, proposal life cycles, and tender outcomes.
- Continuously strive to enhance the local added value in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Estimation & Tendering.
- Proven knowledge of electrical tendering processes in construction or landscape-related projects.
- High attention to detail and exceptional time management.
- Strong understanding of tender documentation, evaluation criteria, and submission procedures.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and CCS Candy or other estimation software.
- Knowledge of government and private sector tender processes.
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with international suppliers or large-scale contractors.
