. About the Job

We are looking to hire an Engineer specializing in Airports to join our Aviation Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, planning, and development of airport infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with international aviation standards and contributing to innovative solutions in the aviation sector.

• Participate in the design, planning, and development of airport infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to heliport and vertiport design initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with international aviation standards and regulations (ICAO, EASA, FAA, IATA, GACA).
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Collaborate on international projects, managing studies and designs in English.
• Support capacity simulations, drainage design, and geometric airside layouts (2D/3D).
• Provide innovative solutions while maintaining technical rigor and flexibility.
• Travel abroad frequently to support project execution and client coordination.
• Design, plan, and oversee construction of airport infrastructure including runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminals.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and technical assessments for airport projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government authorities on project execution.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical drawings, and cost estimates.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and implement upgrades to airport facilities.
• Support sustainability initiatives, including energy-efficient systems and environmental impact assessments.
• Provide technical guidance during emergencies or operational disruptions.

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Technical/Higher) or a bachelor’s in aerospace engineering. Studies in Civil Engineering with a high degree of specialization in Airports will also be considered.
• More than 2 years’ experience in the airport sector (design and planning).
• Experience in heliport and/or vertiport design.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO, EASA, FAA, and IATA regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced English skills (C1 certified or in progress); professional experience in English is valued.
• International experience in studies, designs, and project management preferred.
• Skills in Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, and capacity simulations are an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, independence, innovation, and international outlook.
• Availability for frequent international travel.
