To ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and reliability of all mechanical systems within the facility — including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and other mechanical utilities — in compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities Operation & Maintenance- Supervise, operate, and maintain all mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, plumbing, and firefighting systems).
- Monitor system performance and ensure energy-efficient operation.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with contractors/vendors for specialized maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SBC, etc.).
- Review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain O&M documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
- Support facility upgrade projects and retrofits.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Enforce safety procedures and HSE policies.
- Conduct risk assessments for mechanical operations.
- Respond to mechanical equipment emergencies.
- Supervise and train junior engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and facility teams.
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, and external agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, mechanical systems;
Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, SBC
- 15 years (preferably in high-rise/commercial buildings)
- AutoCAD, MS Office, CMMS
- Mid-Senior level
- Full-time
