Commissioning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring seamless project execution from construction completion to operational handover. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning complex water infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

• Lead and manage the commissioning process for water and wastewater treatment plants, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in alignment with project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth transition from construction to operational phases.
• Conduct pre-commissioning checks, functional performance tests, and system validation to ensure compliance with design and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning, ensuring minimal downtime and delays.
• Ensure all safety, environmental, and quality standards are met throughout the commissioning process.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports, documentation, and handover packages for clients.
• Train operations and maintenance teams on system functionality and best practices.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project acceptance and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Strong knowledge of RO plants, desalination, biological treatment, and sludge handling systems.
• Proficiency in P&, PFD, control systems (PLC/SCADA), and hydraulic testing
• Familiarity with Saudi water standards, ISO 9001, and HSE regulations.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia.
