Project Planning and Preparations:

• Prepare Department and Project CAPEX.
• Conduct Project Feasibility and Intellectual Property Studies.
• Develop a project charter, product development plan, and business case.

Concept Development and Benchmarking:

• Perform technical benchmarking of competitor products, identifying key features/specifications.
• Engage in concept development, Design Input Vs Output preparation, material selection, and design feasibility.

Design and Development:

• Assess manufacturing feasibility with mold design and progressive die layout.
• Execute 3D modeling, generate 2D drawings, and release models/drawings for manufacturing.
• Monitor changes in product standards and ensure compliance.
• Conduct design verification and validation through field trials reports.

Production and Assembly:

• Review Proto Verification Report (PVR) and pilot lot production reports.
• Conduct project release meetings with CFT, overseeing SAP BOM release.
• Manage the life cycle of existing products, change management, and associated actions.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Review DFM/MFA, new development tools, and molds SIR at different stages.
• Ensure standard adherence and coordinate with CFT for machine/tool ordering.
• Verify design feasibility for new materials and review changes in product standards.

Safety and Document Management:

• Ensure a safe and healthy work atmosphere, maintain 6S, and adhere to safety practices in the department, including document management.

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job
• To have a vision and a plan for the career path and how to achieve it.

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalates complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.

10–15 years of experience in mechanical/engineering roles.
