Responsibilities
- Develop and review mechanical designs, specifications, and drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy efficiency analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and project requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical design and consulting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant design software.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
