Job Description - Our client is currently seeking an experienced Downstream Corrosion Engineering Specialist to join their Consulting Services Department.
The successful Engineer will join The Corrosion Technology Unit, providing technical consultations and maintaining standards on issues related to corrosion prediction, including but not limited to: mitigation and monitoring, hydro-testing; water treatment; chemical cleaning; mothballing and equipment preservation;
Boiler Condition Assessment (BCA).
Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Corrosion, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related sciences.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in corrosion management, preferably in field and corporate locations.
- Experience with corrosion prediction programs, software, and monitoring techniques is beneficial.
- Active membership in NACE or other international technical committees, with published technical papers.
