Sr. Tendering Engineer – MV/LV – alfanar Electric
The role involves preparing detailed technical and commercial offers by analysing customer requirements, estimating costs, and coordinating with different departments. It supports project execution, controls production costs, and provides technical assistance to customers throughout all stages of the project.
Key Accountability Areas Inquiry Management and Costing- Respond to customer inquiries and review incoming requests.
- Analyse RFQs and prepare accurate cost estimates using standard tools and processes.
- Prepare and submit offers in line with technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to clarify missing or unclear details.
- Support supplier negotiations by providing technical and cost input.
- Compile detailed techno‑commercial proposals based on customer specifications.
- Review purchase orders and confirm alignment with the authority matrix.
- Assist in preparing service and modification offers during project execution.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to track budget, delivery, and execution milestones.
- Apply ERP tools to support cost tracking in production processes.
- Follow up on routing, process releases, and cost accuracy across production stages.
- Join Sales Engineers in customer meetings to provide technical support.
- Support Marketing Engineers with clarifications to ensure technical submittal approval.
- Address client, consultant, and contractor queries across various project stages.
- HR Proficiency:
Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job. - Delivery:
Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. - Utilise resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.
- Problem‑Solving:
Resolve related problems and escalates complex operational issues. - Quality:
Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control processes and specifications for products or processes. - Business Process Improvements:
Coordinate well‑defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities. - Compliance:
Comply with related policy, procedures, and work instructions. - Health, Safety, and Environment:
Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field.
Work Experience5 to 10 years.
