Lead the study and design of protection and control panels. Apply technical expertise to analyze project requirements, propose efficient solutions, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure high‑quality systems that adhere to industry standards and advance engineering capabilities.

• Preparation and Initial Planning – Prepare the job file following the department's standard filing procedure; review and assess contractual documents; define the job technically by explicitly stating all customer requirements and specifications; identify needs for additional resources (e.g., AutoCAD Operator); collaborate with the Design Section Manager on schedules.
• Design and Drawing Processes – Implement standardized solutions; use design software for accurate drawings; ensure adherence to standard drawing formats and symbols; submit drawings per agreed schedules; supervise the CAD Operator when available, overseeing creation of panel layout, one‑line diagrams, civil work guides, and schematic designs from hand‑drafted to AutoCAD format.
• Material Management – Check and issue Bills of Materials for long‑lead materials within one day after receiving IPO to SAP; issue remaining materials within one week; use stock materials when technically acceptable to reduce non‑moving inventory.
• Production and Quality Control – Release latest/production drawings to the Mechanical Team for MMR issuance; provide technical support during production and quality control; convert production drawings to as‑built documentation.
• Safety Procedures – Implement all safety procedures.
• HR Proficiency – Train sub‑ordinates, form teams, provide leadership, coaching, and direction; delegate assignments; ensure fair task distribution to maintain morale and motivation.
• Delivery – Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets; utilize resources efficiently; provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.
• Problem‑Solving – Resolve related problems and elevate complex operational issues.
• Business Process Improvements – Coordinate written systems, policies, procedures, and pursue automation opportunities.
• Compliance – Comply with policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Health, Safety and Environment – Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high‑quality products/services.
