Position: Manager - Transport Planning (MAS5-MDUWFP260157)

Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company invites applications for the position of Senior Manager - Transport Planning. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the transport infrastructure for the Qiddiya development, ensuring seamless connectivity and accessibility across the project. The Senior Manager will oversee comprehensive transport planning initiatives, balancing the needs of residents, visitors, and operational requirements to create a world-class destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of transport planning strategies that align with Qiddiya's vision and overall masterplan.
  • Evaluate transportation needs through data analysis, feasibility studies, and stakeholder consultation to inform planning decisions.
  • Coordinate with various teams to integrate transport planning with urban design, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure development.
  • Oversee traffic modeling, capacity analysis, and safety assessments to ensure optimal traffic flow and transportation efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate transport planning proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations and best practices.
  • Manage and mentor a team of transport planners, fostering professional growth and ensuring high standards of work.
  • Monitor project progress and adapt planning initiatives in response to changing requirements and developments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field;
    Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in transport planning and traffic engineering, preferably in large-scale urban or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of transport policies, traffic management systems, and planning software.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in preparing detailed reports and documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to sustainability and innovative transport solutions.
