We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Engineer for Construction supervision night shift to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance during night‑time construction operations.
- Oversee and implement HSE policies and procedures during night shift construction activities
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation, including incident reports and safety plans
- Investigate incidents, near‑misses, and accidents, implementing corrective actions
- Provide HSE training and guidance to night shift workers and contractors
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Collaborate with day shift HSE team to maintain continuity in safety practices
- Monitor and evaluate environmental impact of construction activities
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent HSE qualification
- Valid First Aid certification
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction industry
- Proven experience in night shift supervision
- In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia
- Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and reporting
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and environmental impact assessment
- Experience with HSE management systems and documentation
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a non‑traditional schedule
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE regulations
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment
