OverviewWe are seeking a high‑caliber Graduate Bridge Design Engineer to join our bridge team based in the KSA. The Bridges skill group sits within the Transportation Business (People & Places) and is committed to delivering major bridge schemes throughout the Middle East, including long‑span crossings, international bridges, architecturally led bridge designs, design‑and‑build schemes, and local authority commissions.
Responsibilities- Contribute to delivering bridge projects on time, on budget, and to the client’s requirements.
- Liaise with team members to develop technical solutions.
- Deliver sound design solutions that meet client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with management and quality systems at all levels.
- Produce bridge structure models and calculations under the guidance of Senior Bridge Engineers.
- Liaise with the BIM team to develop the bridge structural models.
- Recognized degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
Master’s degree preferred. - Knowledge of structural modeling software/tools (MIDAS, RM, Structural Bridge Design) and BIM.
- Good knowledge of KSA design standards – SHC, MOMRA, Euro codes, DMRB, and AASHTO.
- Flexibility to undertake short‑term assignments in GCC countries preferred.
- Team player with an open, approachable nature who inspires others.
- Tenacity, drive, and determination.
- Good communication skills.
- Progressing towards membership/accreditation of an appropriate engineering council or body.
- Bi‑lingual capabilities.
