We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Operator specializing in Construction Buildings and Management to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD software, supporting our projects in the dynamic construction industry of Saudi Arabia.
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards
- Interpret architectural and engineering designs to create detailed construction drawings
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and implement design changes
- Maintain an organized database of drawings and ensure version control
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in preparing cost estimates
- Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Participate in site visits to gather necessary information for drawings and designs
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting for construction projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D and 3D modeling
- Strong understanding of construction industry standards and building codes, particularly in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- AutoCAD certification preferred
- Familiarity with other design software such as Revit or Sketch Up is a plus
- Knowledge of Arabic language is beneficial but not required
