Tire Quality Engineer (Returns & Failure Analysis)
Darbk Tires is seeking a detail‑oriented and technically strong Tire Quality Engineer to lead the inspection, analysis, and reporting of returned tires. This role plays a critical part in protecting product quality, reducing warranty risk, and supporting continuous improvement through field data and structured technical reporting.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with heavy‑duty truck tires, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate field observations into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect returned tires and document condition, wear patterns, and failure indicators.
- Identify root causes related to inflation pressure, load conditions, alignment, rotation, road surface, mounting practices, or manufacturing factors.
- Prepare clear and professional technical reports supported by photos, measurements, and conclusions.
- Classify returns (warranty, misuse, operational factors) and recommend appropriate actions.
- Conduct field visits when required to assess real operating conditions at fleet sites or service locations.
- Maintain a structured database for returned tires and analyze trends by size, tread, application, and region.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturing partners to provide feedback for product improvement.
- Support management with data‑driven insights related to product performance and quality metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tires, fleet maintenance, heavy‑duty vehicles, or automotive quality roles.
- Strong understanding of T fundamentals (load index, inflation pressure, wear behavior, casing inspection).
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage inspections with minimal supervision.
- Professional proficiency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
- Willingness to travel locally when required.
- Experience with ready‑mix concrete fleets, trailers, or long‑haul operations.
- Familiarity with warranty assessment processes and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset.
- Opportunity to work with a growing Saudi tire brand.
- Direct impact on product quality and long‑term performance.
- Exposure to real‑world fleet operations and decision‑making.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
